We’re still some years away from unlocking the riddle of the fountain of youth; however, here’s some tips for good health:
- Don’t over eat .
- Don’t eat heavy foods after 7 PM .
- If you must have a snack after midnight, eat rice-based foods such as steamed rice, rice porridge or rice noodles.
- Walk very slowly for 30 minutes after a meal .
- If no allergy to wheat, eat some wheat cereal (for the cleaning fiber) after greasy food .
- Eat soluble fiber such as fruit when possible.
- If the meat can be trusted, eat raw or more rare beef, especially if you eat the beef late at night.
- If the fish can be trusted, have sushi from a top sushi restaurant once in a while.
- Try to choose organic foods, especially those free from pesticides when you can.
- Sore Throat: Eat “forked” watermelon cubes before you go to sleep. Set the alarm to remind yourself to brush your teeth.
- Cough (throat, not lungs): Asian pear before you go to sleep.
- Migraine: Bone meal after eating beef (With the quality control problems of modern times, make every effort to ensure there’s no risk of mad cow disease or lead poisoning before you eat the bone meal.) Also, mulchi, or Korean stir fried sardines are another natural calcium supplement. In either case (to help with calcium absorption) eat beef soon after consuming the calcium. Also try to expose your skin to 15 minutes of sunshine each day, several days before and after taking the bone meal or mulchi.
- Hachi Jyu no Hachi Ya Sen Cha: Fresh green tea from Japan which was processed in May of the current year.
- Try to avoid GMOs (genetically modified organisms).
- Try to avoid artificial coloring and flavoring (junk food).
